Who are we?

 An Iraqi Islamic bank, working to provide financial and banking services. All of its deposits are subject to insurance by The Iraqi Company For Deposit Insurance.  The bank was established in 2016 reg. number 4844, and the bank’s capital is 250 billion Iraqi dinars.

Comments

 When visitors write comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent chain to help spam detection.

 An anonymous chain generated from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.  The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.  After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded website data (EXIF GPS).  Website visitors can download and extract any website data from images on the website.

Cookies

 If you write a comment on our website, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies.  These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you write another comment.  These cookies will last for one year.

 If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.  This cookie does not contain any personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

 When you sign in, we also set several cookies to save your login information and your display choices.  Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year.  You will remain logged in for two weeks when you choose “remember me” and if you log out of the account, the login cookies will be deleted.

 An additional cookie will be saved to your browser if you edit or publish an article.  This file does not contain any personal data, it just refers to the ID of the article you edited.  It will expire after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

 Articles on this website may include embedded content (ex. videos, images, articles, etc.).  Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor visited the other website.

 If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we keep your data

 If you write a comment, the comment and its metadata will be preserved indefinitely.  This is so that we can identify and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of keeping them waiting for approval for the review.

 For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles.  All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).  Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

What rights do you have over your data?

 If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to have an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.  You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you.  This does not include any data that we are obligated to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
