The Western Union Company is a money transfer company that carries out instant money transfers from one person to another around the world. Thus, it occupied a leading position in the field of money transfer and was established 160 years ago, which enabled it to establish the largest money transfer company around the world. Western Union is a dynamic and growing company that always responds to the needs of individuals. It provides several services that are currently available in Iraq: It is the money transfer service from one person to another (personal transfers). As it has more than 490,000 branches in the world present in 195 countries, it has 300 partner banks, it has 1600 lines between one country and another, it has more than 104 million customers, as the number of its employees is more than 130,000 employees and 800 employees of the anti-money laundering department. The number of participating banks is currently more than 4,000, exchanging more than two million messages per day. This network covers more than (110) countries in the world and operates 24 hours a day. The goal of the organization is to secure communications between members in a fast, accurate and securely documented manner. In order to achieve the goal of operating the Swift system, a main center has been established in Belgium, equipped with special servers, along with specialized computers provided to member banks. A specific code (swift code) has been set for each of the banks and members.
